Le coaching

Clients

The coaching sessions target groups wanting to improve the execution of a choreography on which they are working and in which there is partnering work. This can include professional companies, amateur groups or advanced classes (14 years and older) of dance schools, no matter what style they practice.

Description

The coaching sessions prioritize a problem solving approach by the correction or adaptation of existing lifts or by the creation of new lifts, in respect of the artistic intentions.

The understanding of partnering will be achieved by studying mechanical principles and by doing exercises based on choreographic sequences brought by participants.

The coaching session consists in making the execution of an existing choreography more efficient, safer and more satisfying to do, both technically and artistically.

The length of a coaching session can vary and may contain the following :
  • a short warm-up – ten minutes of cardio and some light weight support
  • basic mechanical principles useful to all partnering situations
  • analysis and improvement of the choreographic situation brought by participants
